The Junior Golf Tour of Florida (JGTF) is a player development organization dedicated to providing serious junior golfers with the competitive structure, coaching resources, and college recruiting exposure they deserve. Our first club— the Tampa Bay Youth Golf Club— is now forming. We are building a year-round competitive league for middle school, high school, and college-age golfers in the greater Tampa Bay area, with a genuine focus on player development, tournament experience, and the pathways that come after the final round. This is not a recreational program. JGTF is built for players who are serious about their game and their future in golf.
🛡️ Built on a foundation of child safety and player welfare— not just scorecards. JGTF is led by a certified child welfare professional with 30+ years in risk management, program and youth development.

Grades 6-8
Developmental competition in a supportive structure. Build fundamentals, gain tournament experience, and develop the habits that create serious golfers.

Grades 9-12
Competitive league play, college recruiting preparation, and tournament pathways for players who are serious about playing at the next level.

Summer Series
A competitive summer series for college golfers home in Tampa Bay. Stay sharp, play great courses, and give back to the junior development community.

Travel Team & Tournament Pathway
For the most competitive players— a travel team representing Tampa Bay Youth Golf Club at Junior Golf Tour of Florida, AJGA, and FSGA events statewide, with college coach exposure built in.
Structured fall, winter, spring, and summer seasons with standings, points leaderboards, and season-ending championship events. Tampa Bay’s only year-round competitive junior golf league.
Recruiting profiles, college coach outreach, visit strategy, and NCAA eligibility guidance. We help serious players navigate the recruiting process with expert support.
Representation at JGTF, AJGA, FSGA, and regional invitational events statewide. Compete at the highest junior level with JGTF behind you.
Summer and school break intensive camps led by PGA professionals and performance coaches. Focused, measurable improvement in every aspect of the game.
Access to sports psychology and mental performance resources. Because the game between the ears is where serious golfers are made.
Regional invitational events open to players from across Florida and beyond. Build your tournament resume and compete against the best junior golfers in the state.
We will offer ongoing clinics and learning opportunities for players and parents. Topics may include common and advanced rules, course etiquette, golfer responsibilities for course care, putting, sand play, chipping, pace of play, and so much more! Sessions will be offered as part of pre-tournament activities, league play, camps, and other events.

Founder & Executive Director
Todd is a certified child welfare professional with 30+ years of senior leadership in risk management, youth development, and organizational leadership. An Eckerd College & University of South Florida graduate, he served as Program Operations Director at The Children's Home, Inc. — overseeing 150+ professional staff — and is a national presenter at the Child Welfare League of America and peer reviewer for the Council on Accreditation.
Beyond his professional background, Todd is an experienced youth sports coach. He brings 12 years coaching Little League and competitive travel baseball, previously served as middle school golf coach (boys and girls) at Holy Family Catholic School in St. Petersburg, and currently serves as varsity girls lacrosse assistant coach at St. Petersburg Catholic High School — with coaching experience spanning both boys and girls competitive athletics across multiple sports and age levels.
Todd is also the father of Luke and Patrick, both First Tee of St. Petersburg graduates. Patrick developed into a competitive junior golfer, participating in Middle & High School golf, as well as local and regional junior programs. Through that experience I saw firsthand what a well-run junior program can do for a young athlete, and equally, what the gaps in junior golf development cost serious players and their families. Today I help guide my niece Olivia and nephew Nico through high school and competitive golf— and those gaps haven’t closed.
Tampa Bay has talented junior golfers who deserve better competitive infrastructure, better development pathways, and better preparation for the next level. That’s why I built the Junior Golf Tour of Florida. My professional life has been spent protecting children, building accountable organizations, and developing people. I know what it means to be responsible for young people, and I don’t take that lightly.
JGTF is built on the same standards of care, accountability, and genuine love of youth sport I have applied throughout my career. Every decision we make at JGTF will be made with the player first. Not the scorecard. Not the revenue. The player.
